Our 1hr30 mantra meditation experience 7.15-8.45 PM
Traditionally, the winter solstice is a sacred time of year spent in rest and reflection - setting intentions in honour of the darkness [both outside and within] and the new light, life, insight, strength and growth that birth from it.
Whilst we may touch on this in our practice, my objective for our practice is MUCH more chill than this - it is for you to enjoy some nourishing 'time out', via some 'time in' deep meaningful connection this holiday season - and of course a lot of FUN!
We will gather and use our healing voices to create and bathe in very high vibrational sound currents set to bring forth various healing affects to body, mind and spirit - depending on the toning sounds and mantras we practice.
Our voice vibrations will stimulate our ventral vagus circuit supporting the shift of our nervous systems into one that not only supports rest, digestion, repair and renewal, but a biological deep sense of CONNECTION - connection with ourselves, those around us, nature and the world beyond.
Whilst it is so much more, you may think of it like a highly intentional 'sound-healing sing-along'.

If you are still with us at 9.30 PM, you will be invited to join my good friend Lindsay Morton as she leads us through a short 'sleep inducing' qigong practice before we close the doors at 10 PM :)

Whether you or your friend loves to use their voice or barely says a word, OR is an avid yogi or has never done anything like this - know I will be facilitating in a way that will support a deep meaningful experience for ALL, regardless of experience.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
ONE - A full water bottle [or thermos mug of tea].
Yes to keep those vocal cords moist, but also to charge the water molecules up with the resonance of the mantras so that you can continue to sip on high frequency vibrations long after you walk out the door.
TWO - Comfy clothes!
You will be invited to move as much as you want, but the majority of our practice is done from a seated position - wear clothes that will support your comfort.
THREE - Journal & Pen.
You never know what inspiration you might NEED to write down!
FOUR - Anything else you think would add to your comfort during our seated experience.
There will be seats available for everyone, as well as a limited supply of yoga props. For those who prefer to sit on the floor, I encourage you to bring anything you think will add to your comfort experience - whether that be a blanket or a meditation pillow!
FIVE - An open heart and mind to explore the power that is mantra.
